My maternal granddad got hold of his Remington M11 at some point between WW1 & WW2 & it was second hand in a pawn shop back then. When he saw it in the shop he thought it was a Brownin A5 but bought it anyway. I used it a lot in the 60's for pigeon & clays & it never missed a beat, a good solid long recoil operated bit of kit that had thousands & thousands & thousands of cartridges put through it and kept on going like the day the old boy first got his hands on it.
