    Bad Points: None really just that I had to go home


    General comments: The Hotel is stunning , not posh but just well run and friendly with a home from home feel. The food is great and the views are to die for. We stayed in a Lodge in the grounds with Sauna , Hot Tub, the kids loved it and right by the Loch . As for the fishing which is free as a guest of the Hotel it is out of this world with 27 miles of fresh water Loch which is home to the record Wild Brown Trout at 31lb plus We caught a good number of fish the largest just over 10lbs " a real experience" It makes for a good family Holiday as nobody minds me fishing because they all like being out on this sensational Loch

    Portsonachan Hotel & Lodges is a place that offers everything for all requirement from the serious fisherman to the family messing around on the water. The walks are just endless and the area is breath taking in terms of its beauty. The welcome is great the choice of food is wide and the prices very fair and everything is fresh prepared and mostly local.
