    Good Points: Free for personal use Visually stunning graphics


    Bad Points: You do need a reasonably capable PC to get the very best out of the program, I have recently purchase a web notebook, sans graphics card and it runs much better on my more capable DELL Inspiron.


    General comments: Historically one of the challenges with My Virtual Home was the file size. The significant library of objects and materials built into the program meant that the install exe was over 600 MB and it was a large file to download. Version 2 which is currently in Beta has a much reduced install size, now some 35MB.

    My Virtual Home has amazing graphics and really easy to use. What more do you need. I have tried to use quite a lot of home design programs over the years and My Virtual Home is the first one that I have actually managed to make a close representation of what it was I was trying to build. It great fun along the way. eg: You get to open doors and turn lights on etc. Just like a game really. Does need a powerful PC to run properly.
