I am shocked to read any good reviews on Neoteric because my experience was terrible & I can't see how it is possible for a company to receive such varying reviews.

From the start they gave me some of the most terrible concepts I have ever seen with spelling mistakes and terrible grammar all over the place. It turned out that all their work is done in India, with no decent project manager capable of spell checking in the UK either, and for that reason you cannot expect good English or grammar. All they are is cheap and in fact upon further research there are much better products out there for less money.

Their super salesman (who in fact is a director) gave me some good advice at the start, so when I started to experience the awful customer service I called him only for him to fob me off & tell me he was only sales and that I'd need to speak to the design team about my issues. Check them out at companies house & he's a director, he just doesn't have the balls to direct his staff.

One other thing they do is add links within your site to other sites they've designed - the likes of sites selling items such as car stereo's and lingerie - they tell you they have the right to do it but sexy knickers aren't always appropriate on other sites and as they claim to have the right to put these links in you (the customer) have no authority to ask for them to be removed.

(Oh yes & as for being a customer, you'll be more of a pain in the bum than anything else to them)

Read ALL the small print in their terms & conditions because once you become a customer you'll find that they refer to it quite often when you ring up to complain.

Finally many of their staff are arrogant, rude and argumentative. I'm so pleased I've had dealings with this company though as I now have something to use as a benchmark for future web designers I use - i.e. if I ever talk to anyone with their attitude again I'll know to walk on by!

I'm sure that my review will be followed by another review saying how great they are. Just don't believe everything you read on the web!!! If you don't believe me though I pity you!

The selling side was excellent, he promised us everything we needed in a very convincing way.

Customer service is DIRE!!!

I'm currently looking for another company to host and support my site.

These guys are skillful but could be better on customer service. Their fees are quite competitive and i think i will stick with them as they do help us keep ahead of the competition.

If you are getting a bad service from your existing provider, do give Neoteric UK a call as these guys are quite straight up.
