    Good Points: Deep
    Unique character development
    Gripping
    Sometimes even shocking
Literally turned graphic novels into a form of literature

General comments: "Who watches the watchmen?"

    Plot:
it is 1985, the world is on the brink of nuclear war, former heroes are forced to lead normal lives until the death of vigilante 'the comedian' and other heroes leads three former heroes into a conspiracy beyond anyones fears.

    Main characters:
    Rorschach: **spoiler**
Mentally disturbed anti-hero who wears a trench coat and ink blot mask. His tactics include breaking the fingers of bystanders (for information) and flushing midgets down toilets

    Nite owl: **spoiler**
Nice-guy super hero who dresses up like an owl. Lacks self-esteem

    The comedian: **spoiler**
Dead, loudmouth, ignorant, bigoted, loud-mouth, socio-pathic anti-hero who kills and destroys for fun (and the good of humanity)

I read this book about a month ago. The minute I picked it up and started reading I wasn't drawn in right away. But by the second chapter I caught myself reading non-stop. I had finished the book in about two days from straight reading. Depth is absoulutly abundant and character development draws you in even more. Each character has their own unique profile. I highly reccomend this book to anyone.
