    Good Points: Good picture quality.


    Bad Points: extremely unreliable.


    General comments: I have owned an LG Flatron 795 Plus 17 inch monitor for 3yrs, 4 months.
    at first I was pleased with the pic' quality and the USB hub.

    After six ,months, loud clicks could be heard form inside the set, whereas the picture would reduce in size for up to 1/2 hour, then return to normal.

    as I had a 3 year warraty, I got it exchanged, only to find that the replacement, was a secondhand refurbished one, nearly 2 years old. LG warranty is an exchange refurbished unit, only.

    Another 6 months or so and this unit had a gun go, so it was working on only 2 colours (no red).

    another exchange, another old piece of rubbish as a replacement. Remember, I bought a brand new one and end up with old rubbish.

    To cut a long story short, I had 4 exchange monitors in 3 years, 2 with the clicking/small picture problem and 2 with the missing red gun problem.

    Now, 4 months out of warrany, I am writing this on a monitor showing only 2 colours as this too is now knackered.

    Overall, LG monitors, like their website are rubbish. Do not buy this rubbish!

    I have 2 of these beauties, on a nice dual head system. Both running at 1280x1024. After initial problems with dodgy USB hubs, my current set are perfect.

    This LG Flatron 795 plus monitor is a "must" for anybody who want to experience the best pictures or video images from games or dvd!!! and i have nothing else to say!

    I love the LG Flatron 795 plus monitor but even if I update my graphic card with the latest driver, I still have problems. I think there is a problem of compatibility with the Matrox G-400 series.

    AThe LG Flatron 795 plus is a superb monitor with a great bright pin sharp screen.
    The OSD buttons are a nice touch with there heatsensitive touch and the look good too, had the monitor for six months and not a glitch. GET ONE

    My LG Flatron came with an Evesham computer and it just completes a top set up. Goes all the way to 1600x1200, I use mine at 1280x1074, and even with games it always looks great. The set up buttons below the screen are touch sensitive and work well. I still, after 6 months, stop and look at how perfectly still the picture is! If ever I upgrade, I will definitely look at LG monitors again!

    At first sight the LG Flatron 795 plus looks hollow... But after watching it for a hour or so, you won't see it anymore and you will not want to go back to "normal" monitors. This flatron is really great, the quality is high, it's very sharp and flatron just looks great! And it doesn't have those two irritating "correction" lines, like trinitron monitors have. It's just perfect!
