    Good bike however there are faults.
    The tyres supplied puncture easily and would be better if a lot wider (1.95)
    The gears are not well spaced, the low gear is not low enough, the high gear is not high enough. Major problem. Below zero temperatures the hub gears freeze and can not be changed making the bike useless. Had I known of these problems I would not have bought the bike.

    The Giant Escape Sub Zero Bike has hub gears, hydraulic discs and big wheels plus a mountain bike frame and bars - a true hybrid in other words. There are times when you could do with a big cog on a flat road but this isn't a racer so 95% of the time it's fine. The hub gears are brilliant and the brakes are more than adequate. All in all a good machine if a little expensive - but that's the price you pay for all the gear!
