Having very low rate, features provided good enough. Light in weight, durable battery, memory good. The strong backlight penetrates in your eyes, no good use of service colour, no outbox or archive in msgs. Hard keypad. Back body cant be changed when used up (would look odd). (read more)

Over all the Samsung N500 mobile phone is good, I have a usage of around 8 hours of talk time every day, its good to use and easy to operate. Signals are strong but phone`s Keypad is not long lasting and fades out. the casing is good and is tough. (read more)

I Have Samsung N500 1 Year Ago. It is a really fantastic Phone. My Usage is too much, and Receiving of Samsung N500 Is Best, but on 1 Condition that don't Throw it. Some Cell Phones have Problem of Receiving while In Idle mode they Drop Signals and show as they are Out Of Coverage and as Not Responding at the moment. But N500 has No Problem Like this. The Samsung N500 is a great looking phone. Bright and attractive, light and has an easy to use manual guide. The only problem is it is hard to download new ringtones and the picture messages are not great either, other than that the phone is great. Great value for money. (read more)

You should not have any problems with ringtones as the phone is fully compatible with nokia ringtones

I like the samsung N500 and every thing, but the screen is very boring when you haven't got a logo. I would like it if you could do something about it to get logos for the phone, or you could make it so that you download animated screensavers over the boring ones that are already on the phone and i dont only speak for my self on this one i speak for every one who has got a samsung N500.
It would make the phone look more attractive and would make more people buy the phone.

After using for 6 months, the phone cannot send sms, and you can only hear the caller talking and the caller cannot hear you when you answer the phone. Phone keep searching for base station signal for minutes when turn on and display Limited Service message when service is found. Long queues at service center for repairs of similar nature. This is a pretty cool phone which has the looks. The software is not all that great though and no phone manufacturer can compete with nokia when it comes to user friendly software. The keys are too hard and ring tones suck. It doesn't vibrate for messages. But otherwise its a great phone. I just wish they could do something about the vibra mode for messages. (read more)

The samsung N500 mobile phone is a very lightweight, good looking and cheapish nokia alternative. It performs well in limited reception sending text messages everytime. It does have limited battery lifespan - typically 2-3 days with limited use. I've found it difficult to find graphics to download and ringtones to input, but someone with experience in these areas should have few problems.
I like the phone, it does everything well and quickly - plus it's not a Nokia and it's good to be...

I've got one of these mobiles, and I think it's great. It's really easy to work and it's a nice looking phone. The backlight is really bright and the display is clear and easy to read. All in all - it's a good phone!

I was happy with it when I first bought it last year. One flaw that I discovered later is that as the battery compartment at the back is part of the phone skin, you can't change the color of your phone at will. Prospective buyers - Please ensure that the skin shade you choose is available in the market at will. Or you'll find yourself in the same funny situation I'm in right now. I had chosen the "Fine Gold" shade for my model and now find that Samsung has stopped marketing the shade. Two options in front of me are - either carry around a phone with paint all peeled-off; or throw it away!!
