“De Dietrich Dishwasher”

I spent around £5,000 on De Dietrich products for my ne kitchen. Although the appliances were delivered in August 2011, the dishwasher had only been in situ for 8 months when it stopped working. An engineer from a firm nominated by DD said he'd fixed it and suggested it was because I had opened the door before the cycle had finished ! Of course it happened again so nothing had been fixed and a month later I'm still waiting for them to fit a new part. I wish I had done some research... (read more)

“Useless”

Spent a lot of money on what I thought was a top product,it is however absolutely useless. The tablet never dissolves thus nothing come out clean,it'll not even clean a coffee cup never mind greasy dishes etc. The separate draw system looked a good idea until you try to put a plate in and find it wont slide back in. These are not overly large plates but standard Denby dinner plates. I ve given up on it now, i ll cut my losses and take it to the tip. (read more)

Detrich make terrible dishwashers, fridges and microwaves.

My dishwasher has never worked properly. I have at last decided to replace this useless dishwasher with a better make.

The tablet in the dishwasher does not dissole hence the dishes are not cleaned properly! (read more)

“Have had the de dietrich dishwasher for 15 months and...”

Have had the de dietrich dishwasher for 15 months and it failed to heat the incoming water. Phoned the manufacturer and was told they only guarantee for 12 months. Repair would cost £155. Wasted ages on the phone and was told by marketing dept of De Dietrich that it was covered for 24 months. Service said no. Hooked the machine up to a hot water supply and it sort of works. Will use it until it fails completely (shouldn't be long) then buy a German machine. A warning to all - I thought De... (read more)

“ Stopped working after 9/12 Salt sensor light...”

Stopped working after 9/12 Salt sensor light malfunctioned. this was replaced lasted another 9/12 same fault occurred. I expect this to last another 9/12. I assume this is a design fault with the De Dietrich DVY640J dishwasher. I will not replace it with a De Dietrich product after this repair. (read more)
