WMP is the first media player I bought and now I thought it is just a thing of the past. It's quite easy to use and setup on your laptop/PC but the player has many shortcomings which you can find on other media players in the market.

WMP can't play videos with special codecs and it's quite prone to crash. Use VLC or GOM to play your media files, these 2 can even play DVD movies. You can also use the Windows Media Player CLASSIC, I guess this one is completely different from present WMP... (read more)
