In June we bought an indulgance 2draw divan with a firm mattress sleepmaster recommend as part of their garentee that you fit a mattress cover to prevent any marks or staining on the mattress, in september we purchased a vallance sheet and fitted it direct out of the packing.
later in september we started to notice the vallance sheet was starting to change colour on closer inspection we discovered the pattern on the base was being bleahed into the vallance sheet we also have had problems with the draws jamming
we contacted the store who told us there was nothing they could do, they wern't even allowed to visit our property to inspect the bed as company policy stated they couldn't because they were affraid there staff might get attacked
we contacted their so called costomer services department who asked us to take photos and send them, they told us we would have to purchase a disposable camera take the photos and get them developed. we took photos with a digital camera and emailed them to Sleepmaster. we also informed sleepmaster that we were unhappy with the service they had provided and had contacted trading standards and Blach Horse finance and that trading standards had told us that as they sold us the goods they are responsable for any problems and not the manufacturer.
we recieved a response the next day saying the pictures had been passed on to the manufacurer and they were waiting for their comments
Months have passed and numerous phone calls have been made to sleepmasters with no result untill today 10/12/09 that is we recieved an answer phone message from sleepmaster telling us the manfacturer has reviewed the photos and that we are at fault and not any part of their manufacuring process
WE RECIEVED 5 YEAR CARE AND GURENTEE WHEN WE PURCHASED THIS BED AND IT NOW SEEMS ITS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON
we have now requested sleepmaster pick up the bed fully refund us including the delivery charge and numerous 08456 calls we have had to pay for and the cost for the damaged bedding.
To date they have refused so we are now waiting for trading standards and Black Horse finance to act

I purchased a mattress being told that it was firm and it isn't. The sales consultant will just anything as they are working on commission. What has been most upsetting is that no one is willing to listen. The customer services is so poor. I have been passed around, rather then one person dealing with it. There is no point testing mattresses in the store as they are not the same. If I could offer advice try another place as there 5 year guarantee and comfort guarantee is not worth the paper it i ...

Guarantee, don't count on it. After 8 months mattress went soft (baring n mind the firmness rating was 9/10), the shop were fine and arranged a replacement. 7 months later same thing happened. This time shop said procedures had changed and now all issues had to go through their head office. Sleepmasters Head office sent out an assessor who was clearly impartial as he told me on the way up the stairs to see the mattress that high levels of softening was normal and just part of the nature of t ...
