    General comments: Best of the vampire chronicles, ties with 'The Vampire Lestat' and 'Blood and Gold.' I had a great time reading it, I'm reading Blackwood Farm right now.

    Anne Rice's, The Queen of the Damned (Vampire Chronicles) is a very fast read. Great horror book!

    Anne Rice, The Queen of the Damned is such a terrible let down after the excitement and beauty of the first two books in the Vampire Chronicles, Interview With the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat. This book picks up where book 2 left off, with Lestat as a rock star, singing gothic, vampire tunes to crowds of people not realising his tales are true to life.
