I've been playing football manager games since 2008, when I joined football manager live. FML was the best, but closed in 2010 I think it was, since then I've been wandering the net to find something kinda the same... Then I found manager league, and played it for a few years and still do... I was getting bored of the same routine and decided to look for another game, that would interest me like FML did, I was never of it, constantly had something to do and talk to as well as play the… Read Full Review

If you are after a game which takes dedication and hard work to get to the top, itsagoal.com is the game for you. It is probably the hardest online manager game to be successful at. Even if you work out those all important game secrets and make the right decisions at the right time, still expect it to take a few years to make it to the top. If you make it, you can really call yourself the best online football manager ! Sure the game has faults, the developers are, lets say in the background… Read Full Review

Not sure what the guys are on about in regards to the game dying. Its had peak and troughs with membership but the guy who said 800 is totally wrong, is currently at 1130 ish so around 50% of the available teams still. The game isn't for everyone as you cant buy your way to a win and it takes time to be good, patience and long term thinking is required. ALL the bugs have been fixed and the community is excellent. it really is the only football manager game online worth playing. I have… Read Full Review

This game is dying. Read the review from 2009. There's been no additional development since then, and manager numbers are even fewer than they were then - around 800 at the time of writing. The review from February 2011 is full of mistruths. The game is dying a slow, agonising and unseemly death and should be allowed to quietly expire in its current forsaken corner of the internet. The last review was clearly a brave effort to talk it up, with the belated realisation that users are the… Read Full Review

The developers are now back in town and the game is moving forward. Loads of bugs have now been fixed and the future of itsagoal.com is very bright indeed.
With a possible merge of leagues, vacant teams in the game will be reduced considerably and competition will be increased.
The future of itsagoal.com looks brighter than ever, the game is free to play, but subscribing for just £10 a year, is well worth the value. Want to play the best online manager game that's not so easy, get signed… Read Full Review

Great online football management game. It's not easy to get your finances right but if you keep focused on slow building the club you'll be flying up the divisions. The transfer market is by far and away the best of all the online management games - bidding wars have kept me going well into the night.
Great online community too… Read Full Review

There has been no development or bugfixing for Itsagoal.com for years. This is reflected in the users base, currently there are around 2,400 active managers. Recently the subscribers were given the benefit of managing a second team, in a desperate effort to liven up the game. So the real managers are probably around 300 or so less. The effort didn't work well, users have fallen even faster than usual recently.
With 4,400 teams, it means that almost 50% are unmanaged. The quality of the… Read Full Review

Its a Goal has to be the best football manager game online. Although it's not for the faint hearted. You have to be prepared to stick at it through good and bad times. There are no quick fixes.
Lots of thought needed to get your club on the right finacial footing, this can take many months, but the rewards are good.
Pick your team, decide on tactics, negotiate contracts and enter the transfer market. It's all there.
Keeps me occupied for hours and I'm in my forties so can be played by all ages… Read Full Review
