    Good Points: The story is fast paced and grabs your attention. With some slightly weird humour added in.


    Bad Points: The story can be a little monotonous as far as the preparation for the trials go, but overall it is actually a very good book. Not the best in the series, but still worth the time to read.


    General comments: The Trials of Death (Saga of Darren Shan) is part of a series, but you should at least read Vampire Mountain before Trials of Death, and read The Vampire Prince after, to conclude that part of the story, otherwise you pick it up half way through. I recommend the entire series to read.
