Good Points: I could not put the book down

Bad Points: I could not put the book down and do anything else

General comments: The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice is a fantastic sequel to Interview with... and it turns the first book on its head. Far from being a secretive, perhaps vindictive character, Lestat is all embracing of his new life/death. We see the story of his existence unfold through his own eyes, not the flawed but charismatic Louis. A must for vampire lovers in general, and Ann Rice novels in particular.

Anne Rice, The Vampire Lestat is beautiful, breathtaking, enthusiastic and twisted. All the wonders of gothic Literature kept in her books will thrill your mind and fancy.

When I read The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice I couldn't put it down. It became like an addiction I had to see what happend on the next page. You begin to see and feel the stroy through Lestat's eyes as soon as you read the first line. The tale is amazing and changed the way I read books.
