My first time with Axona. Tried boiling and went to nothing. Baking not much better. Went to flour in a microwave. Good size and resistant to blight.

The Sarpo Axona is a terrible potato,hard skin,floury and dry.could not use for any culinary use.Grown on an allotment site,good blight resistance but thats about the only good thing about it.Other allotment holders totally agree with my observations after i passed on some for them to try.The whole lot have gone to the private owner of the allotment for his chickens.Avoid like the plague.
