    Photoshop Elements 7 for Dummies is excellent step by step instruction for Elements. Go at your own pace a step at a time. Adobe Elements is a tough photo editing program to get to learn quickly but this guide will get you up and running in next to no time at all.
    I bought this for my daughter and the learning curve has been made so much easier. The guide is well layed out so you can get acquainted with the menu interface quickly and then move on to different tools at your own pace or jump ahead and just learn the particular tool you need for an image.
    It is a thick book for a relatively low price (as far as Photo editing books go) and it perhaps contains more useful information.
    Highly recommended.
