The Beretta 92FS has a little kick but is very manageable. It is also very light and easy to handle. It did not jam yet. The FS stands for F'n Sweet!!! The full size of it makes releasing the hammer without shooting it somewhat difficult with only one hand, unless you turn the safety on which will release the hammer on its own. Also, the hammer does not lock back when the safety is on. I would rather that the safety be on and then be able to cock the hammer and THEN turn off the safety.... (read more)

This is my first review(exiting).
I've had a Beretta 92 Fs for almost a year now and I remember the first time I picked it up in Woodys of Wembley,I just said"this feels like the real..".
Good points; It's made by Umarex;all steel eccept for the grips(top quality plastic)/8 shot magazine,(even this is metal)and is accurate.CO2 lasts soo long .well, mine does- 70-90 shots per CO2 capsule, but if you look after the seals, creams, lube etc,it will last./Spares are easy to find./I love the CO2... Sadly www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/ were happy to take my money but after over 3 weeks and no delivery of the product and zero customer service (they always claim to give you a call back but never actually do!) The Beretta 92fs CO2 gun has a fantastic heavy feel of the real firearm. I was very evenly matched with my friend at the range using my Colt 1911, but now with the Beretta he stands no chance, accuracy is incredible. Avoid all the add ons such as compensators/red dots etc you will not need them. At 10 metres this gun will be accurate unless you have the wobbles.
My advice is buy this gun in black and don't waste your money on nickel versions or walnut handles.
Yes it's expensive but as... (read more)

I just thought i'd say hi and that I really enjoy my Beretta 92 FS. With useage it has got better and smoother, no idea how much I have shot out of it but and have never done anything to it, so advice on cleaning it would be handy,I do know I can hit a Bisley target centre at 20yrds and from six yards can take out the lettering running along the top of the target, saying that I have never taken out the centre 5mm number 6 cleanly. Because it is heavier than my CP88 which is a fantasic buy,I... (read more)

I have been using a beretta for almost 20 years.
I have also shot competition through the military for about 15 years.
Percision with the 92 comes down to breaking in the gun from 300 to 500 rounds of factory ammo before it settles down. dont worry about accuracy. the key is to fill as many mags as possible and shoot at a 2 second pace, the key is to lube up the gun liberally so as you shoot it heats up the barrel untill you see it smoke. what is happening is you are the wearing the rough... If I had know this Beretta 92FS was so accurate I would have bought the Match Beretta 92 instead. The weight helps me hold the pistol steady for very accurate shooting on targets I also use with my Feinwerkbau 100. This is the best well made CO2 pistol I have seen or owned. It was expensive £160 but this kind of quality does not come cheap. I never thought I would find an air pistol (CO2) that was as strong as this Beretta is. It is not as accurate as my Feinwerkbau 100, but it is close.... (read more)

I purchased my Beretta 92fs it was a bit of an impulse buy due to the look and feel of the pistol, I had to have it there and then so ended up paying top buck for it £160.00 if I had waited I could have got it from my regular RFD for £132.99 but I suppose impulse took over. The gun is very easy to clean and work on, ( MAKE SURE THE WEAPON IS EMPTY OF Co2 AND PELLETS BEFORE ANY MANTANANCE!), to remove the top slide, one must remove the slot head screw located below the muzzle, once done... I think that this gun is the greatest. It is the most realistic gun on the market, even compared to the other Umarex guns. It does not have blow back, which is it's only downfall, but if you want blow back, you would have to go with the plastic desert eagle. I think this is an incredible product, and if you want extreme realism with nice power and accuracy, I would recommend it. (read more)

Looks absolutely fantastic (i haven't actually got one, but tried out a friends)
Weight is just right for sturdy shooting. I love the single action trigger .
I was going to buy an Anics a101/M but the finish is rubbish and only comes double action.
Can someone tell me whether this gun can penetrate a glass bottle (wine/beer bottles), because i will buy it if it can.
If possible, can someone post some chrono readings, because some websites say it can reach 425fps!?

I was browsing my local gun shop looking for a mainspring for my rifle, but as usual, starting looking at everything else. The shopkeeper handed me a black 92 FS and I bought it then and there, the feel of it is only marginally different to the real thing! The Umarex one (gassed and loaded) has a good weight to it, and the power is probably above the specification.

I bought this gun looking for a balance between power and accuracey and i feel this is it. Made by Umerex the quality is amazing. This is a much better performing gun then my rubbish Antec A101 which continuously jammed (but that got stolen, oh well). Definatly go for this gun if you enjoy plinking 10/10. Some people may find this gun a bit heavy this is because of its full metal construction. No jams yet, no Co2 leaksand nothings falling apart on it. Pure quality.

I bought a 92fs a few months ago now, and as soon as I opened the hard Beretta case it came in, all I wanted to do was pick it up and shoot it. This feeling never gets old with a gun that looks this good! I wasn't disappointed either, it was a heavy (heavier than the 92 firearm itself), all metal construction that felt great. The only problem I came across was that it has a wide grip making it hard for some hands to cock the gun or release the safety with one hand (and my hands aren't that... (read more)

I had been quite disappointed with my first Beretta 92 FS, some months ago (a black model). It was not powerful and really big gap betweeen SA and DA.
This new one (Inox model) it's completely different: DA is not so weak compared to SA, it seems you can shot with good power around 60 - 70 pellets. Comparing this co2 with my 98fs (inox) they look very similar. Target practice really actual with this co2.
I don't know the reason of this evident behaviour with two 92fs I've tested, maybe there... (read more)

The Beretta 92 FS is a very nice gun but it has its setbacks:
1) When shooting in DA mode the shot is noticeably weaker compared to SA mode, at least 30% weaker comparing traveled distance
2) From the moment I bought the gun the foresight was very loose until it completely fell off after 400 shots (the lower part of the foresight literally broke). I have never dropped the gun or mistreated it in any way.
I had to clued the foresight with epoxy.
3) The blueling is very delicate. On some... (read more)

I bought my nickle plated Beretta 92 FS CO2 Pistol about two years ago from a local shop. It comes in a nice hard case with two 8 shot circular clips. The first thing you notice is the pistol has been lightly coated with oil to preserve the finish during shipping etc.

I have owned my Beretta 92 FS for a few years now and find an extremely fun gun to use. A lot of co2 pistols available are very similar in function but I find that the realistic look and feel of the beretta is fantastic. Other than the now hard to obtain air cartridge guns, I feel that guns like this are the most realistic air pistols compared to the actual handguns they are modelled on, which are unfortunately illegal in England.

The Beretta 92 FS is great fun. I am impressed by the accuracy and flat trajectory of the Beretta out to about 20 yards. I have not had much practice so far, but as a very average shot, using single action, can produce 2 inch groups without trouble at 35ft (the length of my hall and lounge), which is arguably better than the only 9mm pistol that I have fired (Browning). It fires at least 60 shots on the Crosman powerlets. I have found that the first 40 or so fire around 2 to 3 inches higher... (read more)

The Beretta 92 FS is a great piece, looks brilliant and with a silencer really looks brilliant!! and it really hurts when a ricochet hits u from 5 yards! The muzzle velocity is more along the lines of 420 fps but this does depend on the pellet weight.
Ok, I find it hard to believe some one can hit a target with this thing at 50 meters /yards - maybe 50 feet! This is because I got 1 and tried it at a gun clubs plinking range (which has yardage marked out) with no success. I got a webly Xocet... (read more)

Overall I'm very happy with the Beretta 92 FS using it since it came out on the market. The only point is the power which limits the shooting distance to approx. 8 meters (24 feets). What do you mean "not powerful"? 120 meters per second is a very good for a CO2 pistol. For example, in country i live in - it is the maximum _legal_ bullet speed for 4,5 mm weapons. Meaning you don't need a license and can carry it anywhere (unloaded).
I seen Anix and many Crossman guns, some are 150 m/s, but in average - there are few faster than this. Also consider that this is bullets, not BBs. You can tune this gun to almost double it's power and get heavier bullets of harder material... (read more)

When you add the nickel silencer it just gets better, it does make a noticable difference to the sound, and it makes the gun look even better.
