I just rebuilt my 2200, replaced the pump valve assembaly, and stock. I have had this rifle since I was 12, 28 years later I'm still getting small game in my back yard. Great gun, I would not part with it.

I just bought a Crosman 2200 Magnum today...brand new in box! Found it at a local store and paid a whopping $36 plus tax! :-)

All round solid performer, best pellet gun I ever owned. I wish that they were still in production. I owned one of these rifles as a young boy. This rifle had good knock down power for birds of any sort . Most of my friends owned the powerline 880 rifles, but they could not touch the 2200 magnum in performance. The .22 caliber pellets packed were no joke.
.22 caliber pellets were not very common in the neiborhood stores, most vendors carried the .177 caliber variety.

I live in a remote location and would like to know how to order on line in Canada. The Crosman 2200 Magnum is lightweight and has good strong hitting power and accuracy. I have lost the 2nd shot because of the awkward time consuming loading procedure.

I was given this gun when I was 12 by my brother, I have used it since 87'. All I can say is wow, I could hit anything i wanted. Now it needs to be rebuilt and the rear stock is loose. I was very rough on it. I have shot several other pellet guns over the years and I think this one is still the best. One odd thing, mine is silver with black barrel and brown stocks. I have not ever seen another one like it.

It makes you wonder how hunters fared in the old days, with spears, and bows.A hunter hunts, sometimes he doesn't get a clean kill, well that's part of hunting. Some of you guys would like a perfect kill all the time, well then go to the supermarkets.Stop with your bull about what can take down a goose, if necessary my boot would take it down, no matter how many stomps it took if I was hungry. I'm a hunter wanting to eat and I'll live with that, some of you are pretend hunters with no hunger in y ...

I bought this gun from k-mart in 1980 and I have knocked down just about every type of bird in the woods. It was so accurate I could sit under a tree and knock down 5 doves sitting side by side before they knew what was going on. I could kill rabbits at 8 pumps, and it also had great distance with good accuracy and power. The air does not build up to shoot anymore after 27 years last year, dicks sold the 2200 mag in 2005 for 68.00 dollars.I picked it up and should have bought it.

Very rare pellet gun. Bought my first one in 1983 and it was stolen in 1989. Found a 2nd one at Traders Gun Store in San Leandro Calif in about 1992. It was under a lot of pellet rifles, I dug 2 of them out and got one for myself and one for a friend!

This gun is to me the very best pump gun every built. I have owned the power master 760 and the 2100 and have used the sheriden and daisey powerline 770, and the Crosman 2200.

The neat thing about pump rifles is that you can very the power to fit ...

This is a great gun it has a lot of power depending on which year you bought it in if you bought it before the 1980's then it has 700 fps if it is still in working condition but past the 80's Crosman reduced it to about 600. The gun I own has shot 1000's of pellets and the air pressure is not as strong now because there is a problem with a valve but you can't expect any gun to last forever without it getting repaired. This is a good gun for hunting to the size of woodchucks (12-15lbs) or for tar ...

I've owned this Crosman 2200 Magnum rifle for over 25 years and it works as good as new. I'd like to buy another but can't find them anymore. This gun will knock down any and all varmints around the house and yard: crows, crackles, rats, pigeons, jacks, cotton tails, you name it. I love this rifle. I bought it for $49.95 at K-Mart back in 1981. It is a gem. I have a scope on it and it is a lot of fun to plink around with.

I own a 1984 Crosman 2200 Magnum I've owned this gun since I was 15 and it still has stopping close range power and accuracy but, it's so old. When I was a kid I would leave air in it and now the seals are broke and you have to shoot right after pumping which is bad because it is so strong and still is a nice gun. It's too bad the seals are broke cause I'm sure it would last a longer time but I'm looking forward to getting new seals but it might take a while. But over all I love the gun and I mi ...

I did some more shooting with it and here is a better review of it.

I got the Crosman 2200 Magnum old model of it for free and it was made in the late 70s-80s. I like the way it shoots and I can kill crows like a more costly gun. This gun with wadcutters can take out starling at 75yards and if you put a good scope on it will do the job. You do have to pump it but it easy to pump. If you see this gun get it and it shoot at 600fps.

This Crosman 2200 Magnum with open sights can shoot well out to 30 yards with a scope 50-80. If you get it get 6x and up with a 40mm and up.

I have owned a Crosman 2200 Magnum for about five years. The accuracy is somewhat wanting, but the rifle is unbeatable in heavy brush. I've been able to shoot 1-inch groups at 40 yards with it.

I have the Crosman Magnum 2200 W (I assume the "w" is for wood stock). Overall, I like the rifle but I would like to get more velocity from it.

I'm selling this one *ONLY* because I want more speed, otherwise this is a straight shooter with no complaints!

The 2200 Magnum I own is a very portable rifle. Having attached a sling with Unc.Mike swivels I could Sling It over my shoulder and still hike for miles with a 40lb pack or even ride my mountain bike. Mine has a Bushnell 3-7x scope to maximize the guns potential and this one needs it due to the fat tru-glo sight. It is quite accurate with both Crosman 14.3grn flatheads (2"at20yds) and also Gamo Hunter domes (1.5"at20yds). It is sl;ow to load but with 4-5pumps it is pleasent to use in the basemen ...

I've only used the Crosman 2200 a couple of times and so far it seems like a generally nice gun. At about 20 yards I can easily destroy blank cds. At about 10 yards I can hit bulls eyes on paper targets and all without a scope so i'm unsure how good scopes work on this gun. Overall its very accurate. As for power at about 10 yards pellets will go right through a tuna can. Powerfull enough to hunt pigeons, squirells, and other rodents. I've heard some parts like the stock can bread off but i've o ...

I have a 15yr old Crossman 2200w, and haven't had any stock problems (yet - getting worried now!). Mine is a practical, maintenance - free, everything gun. It is used for everything from dispatching injured frogs my lawnmower's chewed up and the occasional bumble bee for target practice, to rabbits pigeons and crows. I like the fact that it only cost me 40 quid, you can leave it pumped all day when you're hunting, its totally recoilless, and if you get hung up on barbed wire climbing over a fenc ...

Me and a mate just bought one of these second hand and i am impressed it has suffient stopping power. Enough for pigeons and rats out to 15 odd yards with just the provided iron sights and with a smk 4x20 scope (only a tenner) you can get decent groups at 25yds! Its only 2 downfalls are the need to pump it up 10 times to get a full power 550fps shot which is a drag if you have a prime hunting shot and you have to spend 90 or seconds loading it,not ideal. Also the abs stock modes like mine have a ...
