The PGCE training was a bad experience. The lecturers were nice and supportive apart from the tutor and my school mentor. They were not understanding, patient and were really harsh in their observations.They expected me to be an excellent teacher in only one month practice in the first school placement. Everything was my fault and not the pupils' fault. Most of us were sent in placements far away from home in depressing towns.
I would definitely not recommend this university for MFL PGCE... (read more)
