Firstly this is one ugly pistol looking very much like a hair dryer or a 50's ray gun from star trek. It is supposed to be powerful but I have no proof of that, mine is still hard to cock. It has terrible recoil and it is too heavy. Good points are its BSA and I love all Bsa's for how you load straight into the barrel and it has excellent lock up and an anti bear trap. so its solid and safe engineering as you would expect from BSA. BSA Scorpion .177 is my first 'real' air pistol. A friend of my father's had one and brought it to the local gun club for me to try when I was 10. I was duly impressed, both by its looks and performance. I simply had to have one, and so received a heavy, white box on my 12th Christmas (1988). I shot that Scorpion thousands of times and never had an issue with it. The sights were quickly replaced by various scopes and the sparrows only had less certainty to look forward to. I did feel...
