    Good Points: Reads mp3


    Bad Points: Very cheap face plate
    bleeping noises
    not reliable


    General comments: Lot's of bleeping noises when reading some mp3s
    an even regular CDs (awful espcially when cold temp)
    Reliability : mine died just after the warranty end
    Bad tech support

    I do not recommend buying this product: spend
    an extra $100 and go with well known brand

    Im on my 3rd Merconnet CD9118 Mp3 CD Player unit now and again i have a problem. The 1st one played cd's and mps fine. then there was a problem with power to the front, had to really press hard to connect it, then it went dead. 2nd unit cuts of mp3 tracks early, skips then i lost half the display.
    3rd unite skips like mad, still cuts off mp3 tracks early

    my advice.. dont go near it!

    I am very impressed with this unit. Great anti shock, still no jumping & I've given it a run about. For the price its a bargain. Super power output giving great sound.
