    Website down for 3 days, when I finally got someone at technical support they said my IP address was blocked - even though I'd just told them that nobody could get in. He wanted a list of everybody's IP address that had tried to access my site!!! But magically "my" IP address was unblocked and now everybody can get in. Strange eh? I wonder how long it will be before the site goes back down, as it seems to do so regularly.

    Been with Pickaweb for 12 mths and so far been happy although tend to use purely for email domain and this is first time had problem.

    Server been down several hours. Phone call to support at 19.45 said emergency problem had sent servers down and anticipated to be back up in a few hours. Given the almost automated reply from what appeared to be non uk support person I'm would be delighted if that was the case.

    We've been with them since the beginning of 2009, but had to migrate all our hosting elswhere because of consistently overloaded servers (which menat websites and emails were unavailable for hours at a time). I as told several times they had sorted the problems, only to have a recurrence a few weeks later! There's just one site left which is proving difficult to migrate.
    Our new hosts don't load their servers so much, and their support is helpfull and honest - tentahost costs more but what is a ...

    There are cheaper and better web hosts out there now. Having been with Pickaweb for several years and suffering numerous problems, the final straw came with a mass attack on their servers which they were in complete denial about. Their backups had failed for several weeks so when the websites were restored, they went back in time. The technical support were next to useless. Beware, these clowns are diabolical.

    Excellent team of people. I have had my site with them since the old days when this was a much smaller operation.
    they are almost always prompt and efficient with replies and assistance. The website builder tool is fantastic adn so easy to use even a child could do it!

    Let down by very poor technical support sometimes, seemingly outsourced to foreign lands. Had a hacker change just my front page (easily restored) but Pickaweb restored from a 2-month old backup, overwriting recent posts on forums, uploads, etc. And that was at least the 3rd time they've done that. Uptime over the last 3 years (I've been with them over 5 years but only started counting the last 3) has been around the 97% mark - not the 99.9% they claim!     I have used Pickaweb for about five years now.
    Tech Support is very good (online and by 'phone)
    As a school we feel very supported.

    I would recommend Pickaweb, and indeed do on a regular basis(!), to anyone!!!

    From my initial order to their support, I feel that all areas of Pickaweb's service has been extremely beneficial and easy to use.

    I've been with them a couple of years and are far the best host I have dealt with! More importantly, their control panel is a joy to use... unlike some. I almost constantly have 100% uptime and very rarely experience lag or slow loading times.

    Their content is very good for the price, however, their tech support lets them down in a big way. My site was also recently hacked and like the previous poster also had problems with tech support "hiding", ignoring questions, and lying about the situation until I managed to tease the truth out of them via customer support.

    Pickaweb have a great support team who can resolve problems quickly. The 24/7 service is really a pre-request nowadays for making server changeovers outside of clients hours. They may not be the cheapest in the marketplace but if you have a number of websites to maintain, then the time saved in support will ultimately save money. We are currently moving all our websites to host with them.

    I'd had an account with Pickaweb for a while and always thought the service was pretty good. However, my main site was recently hacked and the technical support person I'd spoken to was very rude, ignoring my questions and twice leaving a chat room when he saw it was me in there!

    A bit of a mixed bag. Over the years they've increased my email accounts, webspace, bandwidth, databases etc and not increased the price at all - excellent. Then they use the Control Panel X application which is great for configuring the site and installing complex applications (using Fantastico).     Renewal was an easy process.
    However disconcerted to find that use of this merchant triggered a fraud alert with my credit card provider. I don't think this was Pickaweb's fault as the card provider claimed I had not used this merchant before with this card.
    Pickaweb give good warning of a domain expiring and a need for renewal.

    Really pleased with the service from Pickaweb Limited.
    Pickaweb is very experienced and very helpful.
    My website was up and running in no time. Their 24 hour chat service is really handy for the odd questions you have when you are getting started.

    Stay away from PICKAWEB.CO.UK I registered my first domin with them in January 2004. almost two years later they allowed a hacker to transfer it to their name and were not helpful at all. I must be crazy to have stayed with them, but I did and have at least 14 domain names registered with them. On another occassion they sent out several reminders to renew registration of one of my domain names to a compaby I know nothing of. Lucky for me they were honest enough to alert me.

    I am pleased with the service and support received today from Pickaweb Limited.

    Prior to today I have had very few occasions to call your team but I am always helped by courteous and attentive people.

    Link to renewal before expiry of old Domain details was not straight forward from screen but I was pleased to discuss this with someone rather than just to renew vie computer screen.

    Highly impressed by the quality of service and accomodating nature of the staff. They are always on hand to explain all details. One chat and any issue is resolved. Need a good hosting company? Pickaweb comes highly recommended!
