Clunky but functional way to use Pixtura under windows 2000, etc.
I am using VmWare Workstation 4 to create a virtual machine windows 98 machine under windows 2000 to get to the camera and transfer images. (read more)

My wife spilled tea on my Logitech Fotoman Pixtura digital camera which has flawlessly worked for over 15 years. Flash worked, color was still beautiful. So, I set out to find a replacement. There are none. The junk out there now can't touch this camera after all these years. Have an old one you'd like to sell, let me know. Perfect for real estate needs. I just got hold of a very OLD FOTOMAN FM-1 camera, it's a great , wellmade equipment, only I should install windows 3.1 or at least windows95 to get it working.
<br>Anyhow, they really knew how to make computer-equipment in the good old days ;)

I just came across my Fotoman Pixtura while cleaning out the garage ,no software or interface cable though , I put batteries in it and it seems to work real well , it's in very good condition , but I can't guarantee it's working condition .Everyone that has owned one seems to like it . I would like to sell mine ,any offers ??

I have a Locgitech Fotoman Pixtura with three screw on and two snap on lenses soft case and seriel port cable. Have original software and software for windows XP/Pro.
<br>Lenses are as follows:
<br>Tiffen wide angle converter 0.65X 37mm
<br>Tiffen telephoto converter 1.5X 37mm
<br>A set of three lenses (close-up lense set)
<br>Still takes great pictures.

I have a Logitech Fotoman Pixtura that has worked for 10 years flawlessly. Now it shows "!E0" on the lcd screen. unfortunately the manual is lost. Can anyone provide me info on how to obtain a copy of the manual? Thanks!

It is very unfortunate when expensive hardware such as the Logitech Fotoman Pixtura digital camera outlasts the software. Especially when the software isn't all that hard to modify. I for one will not be purchasing any more Logitech products. Sense they see no value in supporting there products. The camera does a great job in very high temperature extremes. (-20 F to 90 F) Too bad I can't see the photos on windows 2000. (read more)

I recently added a disk drive to my home computer. I removed the download software from the old drive, intending to re-install on the new one. When I tried, the software floppy disk was corrupted.

Logitech has told me that they will no longer support the software for my camera. This means that it is totally useless.

I don't understand how they can just dump me. However, that is what happened.

I still have the software (Pixtura 1.5). If you still require it, I can email it to you. :)
Old "junks" sometimes last longer than the software provided :)
I'm currently still searching for a driver for Windows 2000 or NT for this camera; otherwise I have to stick with the old Win 98.

Help! Can anyone email the Pixtura software for the Logitech Fotoman camera? I lost mine and just came across a folder with a bunch of PXN files. I would really appreciate it!
