    Good Points: Nice and big 3 stage filtration
    Easy access
    Easy to prime the feed


    Bad Points: Make sure you put the top back on correctly


    General comments: I have had the Rena XP3 external filter now for approximately 4 years and having kept fish for over 20 years I am extremely pleased with this filter. I also own a smaller XP1 single stage filter but I find this can be difficult to prime and getting air bubbles out can be a pain.
    I have recently moved from tropical to rift valley and in an overstocked tank this filter copes admirably.
    I certainly can recommend this filter.
