We went as a family, two grandparents, daughter and two grandchildren aged 18 months and five years. Children loved the pool, the five year old would go up and down the slides all day, he needed his arm bands. Also both children liked the other three pool areas. They needed close supervision in these pools as neither can swim. Children also loved Water World, but there is a twenty minute walk to the free bus which runs every half hour. You are not guaranteed a place on the bus and we had to wait for the next one on one occasion. Not good with two tired children on a very hot day. We used taxi to get there and back one day. 15 euros each way. We would recommend this. Children loved the evening entertainment, kids disco usually at 8.30 each evening followed by a variety of acts, circus act, very good, snakes and lizards, parrots and magician. As our main aim was to cater for the kids, we were pleased with our choice. Down side, there was plenty of food and quite a wide choice, but we found it all very bland. You ate in a large eating area at set times, it was clean light and airy. Good service. Rooms were small but O.K. Clean and tidied each day. Shower would run hot and cold. Reception area and bar areas O.K. Limited choice of all inclusive drinks and snacks, especially downstairs pool bar. We found it annoying that you had to move from the outside kids disco to the indoor entertainment. You could not always get a good seat when you went upstairs and you couldn't get wine from the bar downstairs which closed very early. We had only one real issue. Arrival. No rep available, walk with luggage up a hill, not sure which way to go. We were given a map, but we were tired and disorientated. Everyone was confused not just us. There are numerous Rosamar Hotel complexes in the vicinity. When we arrived at reception only two staff doing check in. They were very slow, it was 9.30 we had had a long day and were very tired. Once we got to our rooms we found they were not ready and cleaners were still inside. They were well aware of our requirements and this was 9.30 p.m. We found this very unacceptable. Overall taking everything into consideration, we would recommend to family like ourselves. It does what it says on the tin. Lots of places to eat in the town. Nice streets and shops, good beach close to hotel, but man made and steep drop into see, better for older children in our opinion.
