Paid a deposit for social and political history diploma on 29th April, sent back direct debit mandate the same day as I received it (4days later) two weeks later nothing had arrived and I had no contact from them so I phoned and was told that they had sent it back to me as something was missing. I have recently completed the Autism Awareness course. Not only was it great value for money but the level of support from my tutor was great. I found her comments very helpful and enabled me to improve my next module. I chose the paper version rather than the online version so had to mail my modules and wait for my tutor to reply. I have cancled the course i take back everything i said i would not recomend ncchome learing be very carefull as i was led too belive i would have a reconised qulaification and would be able too get a job at the end of the course but found out from my nursery manger were i want too work the nursery nurse and teacher asiatant course is Not a reconised qualifiaction so i was fasley lead too belive it was even after telling nnchome lraning i wanted too work in a nursery i was recomened these courses so i was comletely riped of as i lost out £80 but at least thanks too my nursery manger did not spend hundreds of pounds on a course wich were not reconised not happy with NCChome learing at all.

Thank you for your comments. Just to clarify, we always recommend QCF qualifications to potential customers who ask for advice on employment in specific fields. We would not recommend a course that would not meet these requirements as we endeavour to maintain a customers happiness from the point of order through to completion. I must also highlight that the charges you received after returning your materials were due to the fact that you had written in the course materials and these could not be resold. The cancellation was provided as a gesture of goodwill as the cancellation period had expired and the materials had been used.

While asking question about a course, he did not reply even tho he was online, I am guessing he was dealing with more than one customer at the time which is terrible. I signed with one of their study courses and it required a monthly payment plan. Of course it was a worry to start with, but the plan was always fixed. The payment dates didn't change nor did the prices that where agreed and they sent me emails prior to the payment date to let me know what was happening. I have studied a level 3 BTEC in travel and tourism at the home learning college, I had just moved to the UK and was looking for something which I could do from home to keep me busy and this college was perfect for me. “Proofreading Diploma”

This diploma took my interest as it was a completely new subject area for me, and I felt it would help me in my workplace and outside. The level of support has been excellent - detailed feedback on essays and any clarification required was given quickly and in-depth via email by my course tutor. The course material is easy to follow, and the list of references is useful for suggestions to help with further reading. I look forward to using NCC Home Learning for another course in the future. I am currently doing the customer service level 3 course so there are only a few things that I look for 1 Support from NCC- Which I have found to be excellent 2 Challenging enough to make it worthwhile - Again very good 3 Cost Effective - With payment plans available this can make it very easy to afford. All in all this has been a very worthwhile experience so far and I will probably do more in the future. (read more)

I think the online chat is an excellent idea, as it give you the opportunity to ask lots of questions about the courses on offer. The customer service operater that dealt with my online chat, was absolutely brilliant and so proffesional, as she was really helpful and i didnt feel to under any pressure when contemplating buying course material.
