    Block Party is a must see for anyone who likes good hip hop. It features live performances from the likes of the Fugees, Dead Prez, Jill Scott and Kayne West in a block party in Brooklyn. The film is hosted by "Dave Chappelle" who adds some comedy to the film and some interesting interviews with musicians and people who live locally. There is a very interesting look into the lives of a couple rennovating what they call their "Broken Angel" warehouse in one of the edits or included in the extras. If you don't like hip hop for the culture, i recommend watching this film.Between the brilliant live performances, comedy banter, musician and crowd interviews and the setting of the performance a very positive atmosphere was created. It was interesting to see as the stereotype of events like this is the opposite.
