Good Points: Long hitting irons, very forgiving, does what it says on the box. nice looking iron on address
Bad Points: Not making this shaft any more.
General comments: Moved from fat shaft steel irons to deep red II graphites, noticed how much longer they hit need to come down a club.
not a club for everyones taste. this club gives you confidence to attack shots. with more use of these irons my handicap is gradually coming down. have owned these irons for 3 years now and take at least 8 shots off my handicap.

They have a lot of forgiveness and you obtain long distance with the driver. By the price you get a complete set you are not going to get a clubs as good as the Deep Red. They are great but the putter is not as good as the irons. I would recommend the Wilson Deep Red Irons.

These clubs are not only forgiving, they also give good distance. I tried most of the major brands and a wide range of prices, including the most expensive. The Deep Reds simply suited my game the best. These clubs worked for me. They are certainly worth a try.

Switched from Ping ISO's to the Fat Shaft. More distance, apx. One club and consistantly straighter. Not for everyone but STRONGLY suggest you try them when testing other clubs!

Wilson Deep Reds are nicely made irons, fitted with the Fatshaft graphite shafts, which are wonderfully light and beautiful to look at. The makers name is on the underside of the shafts, so when you adress the ball you don't see the graphics and name and so are not destracted by them. They have plastic inserts behind the face, which helps to avert the problem of jarring and shuddering you get in your arms when a poor shot is played.
