Good Points: Small, fast, with a sequential and a movie mode. Clear, bright, crisp pictures in 1024 x 768 resolution. Solid camera case.

Bad Points: Smart Media and limited to 16 MB size (though this is 125 pictures at max resolution). No frills or significant manual mode external controls.

General comments: This sanyo VPC-X350 is a fine point & shoot digital camera ... I find it takes excellent 1024 x 768 pictures that do well on the net, sent by email, or printed on a Photosmart printer on 4 x 6 glossy paper. The small "pocket" size makes this actually the camera I grab on the way out 3 out of 4 times in lieu of the HP SLR digital. The smaller resolution makes for fast shooting and the quick sequencing shots mean I always get a "best" picture from any situation. No longer made, you can occasionally still pick one up for a small amount on ebay (under $100 USD). I get about 50 pictures off a pair of rechargeable NmH batteries using the LCD most of the time (needed to set functions off a menu, as well as review pictures). Bottom line ... this is not your high performance high resolution, optical zoom digital camera ... it is a small fast light quick shooter with excellent image quality at just under a megapixel.
