Good Points: fairly light, hood sight, accurate, nice stock, smooth cocking
Bad Points: little low on power, thats it!
General comments: I bought a new RWS 93 in .22 caliber after taking my gamo shadow 1000 back for breech seal troubles. I really liked the RWS due to it was VERY ACCURATE, even with open sights. The guns power is way over stated as most factory ratings are. I was a little disappointed in velocity, I could see the pellet drop 10 yards after I shot it, so it did not have a flat tradgectory. It would bring down a squirrel or crow up to a reasonable distance. I shot a starling out of my window with mine and he dropped like a ton of bricks. Good pest control gun, quiet too.
I do not think you would be disappointed at all in this gun, it screams quality and it handles like a dream.

The RWS 93 .22 is a value leader. It's probably the best spring piston airgun in it's class. It is fairly simple in design, but well built, accurate and reasonably powerful. It has a nice manual safety that's conveniently located and easy to use. The gun is light in weight and a real joy to carry around for long periods. I find the scope grooves to be it's only fault. They are well machined, but centred too far back on the receiver, and since the gun lacks a scope stop, it's recoil sends scopes ...- Read NS.'s review (137 words)

The RWS-93 .22 airgun is a well balanced shooter even with a scope. The stock is a little thick on the forearm but is easy to get used to. The sights are good and the front has interchangable inserts. The hardwood stock is nicely finished and it comes with a padded butt stock. The gun groups perfectly on paper. The cocking is smooth and doesn't need much effort. This gun is well built, accurate, and great value.- Read E.J.L.'s review (117 words and 1 comment)

Air guns - Pyramyd Air Report: Hey! You! Get offa my cloud! - Part 2
First, none of the tested pellets worked really well with any of these rifles (with one exception). ... Absolutely worthless, and I'm convinced that the not-so-bad RWS 93 results were a fluke.

Air guns - Pyramyd Air Report: Hey! You! Get offa my cloud! - Part 1
The RWS 93 is the most powerful gun of the test, generally doing about 800 fps. It's full-sized and heavy for the power (heavier than a model 94), but is a very ... Regarding .22 rimfire rifles,
