Good Points: It really is a totally new way of looking at dieting.
A lot of common sense, but we all know that common sense really isn't that common.
Some of the ideas are so simple and yet I have never thought of it like that.
It seems to work, I have lost 37 lbs by following the diet and I really didn't feel like I was dieting.
I also believe that this is something that will last because it has changed my eating habits and I now enjoy my food even more even though I am actually eating less.

Bad Points: None really, but if you are looking for a list of recipes or food suggestions, you might have difficulty finding them.
Having said that you don't really need them with this diet because you can eat "normal foods"!

    General comments:
The Birchall Diet is definitely a diet that I can relate to.

You will find that it puts you in control of your weight and it is such an "easy read".

Add to this the feeling that you are not dieting and it really is different to other diets, and it worked for me.

I would really like to hear other opinions because I can't fault it and I want someone else to see if it is just me!!!!

The Birchall Diet looks at dieting from a different angle and I found it really IS easy to follow. There is a LOT of sense in the diet tips and discussion in the book.

The MAIN element revolves around the "Hunger sensation".

This is seen as an indication that the body is consuming the fat it has stored in reserve and so the main idea is that you experience the hunger sensation BEFORE you eat anything. If you are feeling hungry (or "peckish") then you are losing weight, it is as simple as that. ...
