This Samsung Digimax 230 digital camera cost me £164 in Makro's. You can use it 'out of the box' to take pictures, but other features may require you to read the manual. Once you understand all the functions, it is a pleasure to use. Pictures are well exposed before any adjustment is needed. My main complaint is that the 5 funtion button for the menu is small and if you do not press the extreme edge of the button, you select `ok` by accident and either come out of the menu or select a... By lucky hap, I also bought this camera from Makro as a special offer. Generally speaking it's well worth the money and the pictures taken (especially large/superfine setting) are staggering with excellent colour rendition. The 2 megapixels give excellent 10x8 prints via my computer.
