    Good Points: Easy to use, quick to setup, quiet and runs fairly cool, looks much more expensive than it is, decent sound and picture.


    Bad Points: The display counts up in 3 seconds and actually slips backwards by 1 sometimes when recording but programs come out fine. Sometimes a bit laggy in recordings menu. But no worse than sky/cable boxes in this area.


    General comments: The Bush TU250DTR 250GB is brilliant. Easy to set up and easy to use. For less than £80 a complete bargain. Thought it would be cheap and cheerful but this thing is as easy to use as sky plus with features such as series link. It can download top up TV programs but as this is done over the air at night, can take a while for things to appear but this applies to all top up TV recorders. So not sure if I'll bother with TOP up TV after my free trial.As a freeview recorder its quiet, easy to use, and looks pretty smart too with a nice display showing what channel you're on. A good remote control finishes off a great value package.
