Verdict
The Blackjack II is a very compelling device. Despite some flaws like a poor stills camera and a steep learning curve with Windows Mobile Standard the phone does most things right. It brings high end features like 3G connectivity, GPS and a powerful smart
Summary
Why spoil a good thing- Samsung kept this idea in mind when designing the BlackJack II, an evolutionary update to the original and well-received BlackJack smartphone. The new version adds a number of useful enhancements: the built-in camera now has 2-mega
Pros
Sharp styling. Improved QWERTY keyboard. Good voice quality. Fast 3G performance. Battery life tops that of other HSDPA-enabled devices.
Cons
Still no Wi-Fi. Windows Mobile 6 is as sluggish as usual. Poor camera.
Verdict
A sleek update to the popular original, the BlackJack II adds TeleNav GPS, AT&T Video Share, and more -while still keeping the price affordable.
Verdict
The Blackjack II is a Windows Mobile smart phone that provides an excellent set of features for a very reasonable price. The Blackjack II resembles a BlackBerry with a landscape oriented display sitting above a QWERTY keyboard. A little thicker than its p

This update to the BlackJack brings better battery life and improved software. See what else Samsung packs into this slim smartphone.
Summary
Samsung took almost everything about the first BlackJack and turned it up a notch, making a good PDA phone a little better. Though the BlackJack II doesn't look drastically different from the original and still leaves room for improvement, the subtle chan
Pros
Improved keypad design Feels responsive and offers useful apps
Cons
Mediocre sound quality Feels cheap; easily shows thumbprints
Verdict
Overall, though, the BlackJack II is still a good deal. For $250 with a two-year AT&T contract (as of 12/21/07), you'll have a slim and good-performing smart phone that can handle your calling, messaging, and mobile entertainment needs
Summary
The slim, affordable Samsung BlackJack was one of AT&T's big hits in the smartphone space last year. So what's next? The BlackJack II with a variety of tweaks, updates and additions just in time for the Christmas 2007 holiday season. The form factor is id
Pros
Full-featured and the price is right at $99 after rebates. Super-slim and quite pocketable. Attractive looking and reasonably solid. GPS is handy for those who hit the road and the camera is actually decent, unlike the original BlackJack's. Plenty of memo
Cons
Slippery! Proprietary Samsung connector for sync/charge/headset. GPS is slow on initial satellite acquisition. Voice dialing software not included
Verdict
A welcome, though not earthshattering upgrade to the BlackJack. As the adage goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it; and the original BlackJack was an extremely popular phone thanks to its low price, slim design and power. The II adds features that keep th

"MY PHONE" The black jack 2 was the first plan phone I ever had. I like it because it is a PDA phone. It takes great pictures inside the house and outside. the only problem is that it doesn't have a spotlight or flash but it doesn't really matter because
Pros
It Has Great Quality
Cons
It is very wide
My phone has been very reliable. Nokia release frequent updates.I have updated the firmware twice now. I've had mine since February.
I wanted a handset with a decent music player. This is very good! Great sound, convenient 3.5mm jack too. The supplied inline remote works well and has a mic which enables me to use the phone in the car.(I have a holder, charger and connect the audio to my car radio). I have also connected the hadset wirelessly to Bluetooth speakers. The sound quality...
Generally disappointing - wouldn't make or receive calls in many areas, even in central London. Audio levels too low to use in a noisy environment. Limited Bluetooth - no stereo.
So here we have a phone which can almost replace everything, it's getting that way, instant photos, instant videos when you need them, access to emails and your current eBay bid while you hiking along Snowdonia, and you even know where you are.
Remember a few things though: get yourself a spare battery and 2gb memory card from eBay, so that you can store the mapping for the sat-nav feature, and the built in stereo loudspeakers are loud and powerful enough to annoy people in the McDonald's...
Constantly has to be reset ( both soft and hard resets ) resulting in lost data information for me etc.
Back up service from support have advised that unit might need returning for repair - like the unit they fail to respond to email communication and when chased they ask for ALL details yet again with no follow up. Do not recommend this PDA, Acer N35.
I like the style and look of this phone but am dissapointed with the lack of features, you would expect to be able to bluetooth other makes of phone and send picture messages with a phone costing this amount. I also like the fact you can download.
