Good Points: This book has some good stories, some very interesting points, and alot of the world's history that you would have a hard time finding anywhere else.
Bad Points: This book is very hard to read. It drops out of one topic and right in to another so quickly that you get lost in between and are left trying to figure out how the two relate. I had to read each chapter over twice to really understand what the author's point was, and still I am unsure of a lot of them.
General comments: I was very interested in the history revealed in Simon Schama's Landscape and Memory, when I could make sence of it. I read this book as part of my North American Enviromental History course at Nipissing University, and a lot of points in the book I didn't fully understand untill they were reviewed in class.
