    Good Points: Solid feel to them.


    Bad Points: Over priced.


    General comments: I bought these to replace my rather large Monitor Audio speakers after reading some reviews in Hi-Fi magazines.

    First impressions were of a solidly made product with a traditional non-gimicky appearance.

    Initial listening was good with a rather full sound and plenty of bass.

    Further listening however, revealed a rather forward sound and I found the bass at times took on a "thudding " quality which was rather unpleasant.

    I will not be keeping them.

    I bought the AVI Pro Nine Plus after reading several reviews in Hi-Fi magazines and to replace my very large Monitor Audio speakers

    First impressions were good. They appear very well made with a traditional non-gimmicky appearance.

    Initial listening was impressive but after a while they sounded too forward and the bass, although ample,would take on a "thudding" quality which was very unpleasant.

    They may suit some situations but I do not feel that I can live with them in the long term. ...
