I purchased the Makita DCS6421 64cc chainsaw to replace a previous Makita chainsaw I used (and wore out) for almost 20 years. This larger machine wouldn't start from the beginning, and it was impossible to restart regardless of circumstances. I had it in the shop for two repairs that resulted in a third repair of having the carburetor having to be replaced on a brand new chainsaw with only 5 hours of use time.
