While having a great picture and excellent Freeview and EPG, there are some annoying features that you need to be aware of, both on this model and probably similar LG TVs, which I would never have thought of.
    1. a 5 second delay after turning on before you can view the picture
2.Even if turning the TV on by hitting the channel 1 button on the controller, it will always come on to the channel it had when you last turned it off.
    3. when used with their own DVD recorder/HDD it has a really strange feature that although the TV is turned off (actuallay standby, as it cannot be turned off) then if the HDD comes on in the night to record a program, the TV switches on, presumably through the HDMI cable. I have reported it to LG, but they just say "this cannot happen". I feel this could be a safety issue, as well as being a nuisance.

These could be problems experienced by other manufacturers as well, but just be cautious and test out as much as you can before spending your money.
