Good Points: Pretty, light and a lovely silver colour.

General comments: I have purchased two MY X6-2 mobile telephones and the first one would not charge properly and the second the key 7-pqrs and 8tuv plus the space bar do not work. I have no address therefore I am unable to return them to Sagem. I purchased these without insurance through Utility Warehouse. I have now bought another phone. I do therefore not recommend the Sagem MYX-5 as I have not bought another mobile phone.

The Sagem MY X-5 mobile phone has been a very reliable and easy to use handset for the year and a half that I have had it. It also comes in at a good price if you hunt around for the right deal.

It has a number of features, including a very good and easy to use WAP browser, a superb menu layout (beating Nokia, once you have got used to it), vibrate alert, caluculator, currency converter, automatic network selection for when you go abroad (so you do not have to manually fiddle with the settin ...

This is a very simple mobile phone.. that looks good. The Sagem MY X-5 is also very cheap now. But this is a no frills phone.. it would say if you want a stylish phone that does what its suposed to do.. then this is the phone for you!

You do not see many people with this Sagem MY X-5 mobile phone but I think that it is one in a million and everyone should experience it.

I have had my Sagem MY X-5 since March now and think it is a very good little mobile phone. It has some good ringtones and games. The good thing about is that there are many websites that you can download free polyphonic ringtones, wallpapers and screensavers for. But you do need to get a data link cable first which are about £20 from www.sagem.com. I was happy with my phone, but got bored with the wallpapers and ringtones, so I purchased a cable and made my own website for all other sagem ...

The Sagem MY X-5 is a cool looking mobile phone but i cant find any changeable covers.
This phone is ok. I still would say that nokia is better by far. As everything is set up for nokia and based on the web. Over all the fone is allrite but could be doing with a little extra features. Such as in the text messages you should be able to see when you exceed the 1 message limit instead of having to guess.
Ringtones should be more accessable like nokia.
I find its great on wap and really easy to g ...

It's really easy to use and the speaker phone facility you get by pressing the call key twice is incredibly handy. It's small, light, lasts ages and has 40 polyphonic ringtones. You can vary the volumes easily mid call to suit you and there's lots of space to store texts (100 I think, compared to Nokia's 15). The WAP is a bit scary, but generally easy to use.

It's very easy to dial by accident (I recently did while the phone was in my bag and it cost me £2!). It does have a lock facilit ...

I got this Sagem MY X-5 phone purely after looking at the features. With hindsight, I wouldn't of, it is very unreliable in terms of battery life, I have had several batteries, and two replacement phones. Nothing makes a difference and I have resigned myself to having to charge it every evening (I'm in a low signal area, so that may have something to do with it)

Despite having the phone a year, I haven't found any of the interchangeable covers I've heard about, the data cable I got was the ...

I cant belive how many people say the Sagem MY X-5 phone is good, as it isn't. You cant find any thing for it and even if you do if you are with virgin you can't get them anyway, you have to call up because the whole virgin network is messed up(it wont let you text for ringtones or anything) you can't download polyphonic ringtones
I would recommend a nokia because that is what everything is made for

The phone has a nice layout and after a little playing around you can breeze through the functions. The sound quality is very good the ear piece sounds crisp and clear. It has changeable covers so if you fancy dressing it up let yourself go. Now to the little flaws..It's rather slow to charge from empty about 2-3 hours so loads of time to cut the lawn...also when you turn the phone on the battery meter is a little slow to give you a true reading..but it gets there after about 3 or 4 mins. It's one ...

This is my first Sagem & I have had this phone for a few months now, & while it looks the part , it is seriously let down by the poor quality of the case & keys, making this phone feel like a second rate Nokia clone.

The features & ease of use are easily on par with, if not better, than many other phones in this price bracket, but the cheap feel of this phone could dissuade potential buyers.

Overall, if you can put up with the "cheapness" of the MY-X5, then it is a good phone & very easy ...

Well what can I say, Sagem have really knocked the spots off Nokia with this little stunner! For starters I wanted a phone that looks good, and this one sure lives up to that, I've got a matt black clip on cover on it and it looks just suave! One little niggle I have with the phone is that when you have over a hundred texts stored it tends to slow down a little, but nothing major. Other than that it's got everything you could ask for from a phone, including heaps of wallpapers to save you downlo ...

I think it has such a cute appearance BUT never judge a book by its cover as my granny always says! Its rubbish! If its sunny i cant do anything with it coz i cant see the screens its too dark. The screen savers are stupid! Why do the only appear every minute?? And when they do appear is either a flash of a different pic or some stupid plane flying, a doggy thing finding a mobile behind a rock(??) or a man riding a whale!!

All in all this phone for the price is very good. Small stylish and most applications are user friendly. I had to get my phone unlocked to use this phone on o2, as the reception for t-mobile was very poor. Not all network providers will except this phone on there networks, think this due to the phone not being so popular
