Why? Why? Why didn't I listen to the advice here? my 5205-S703 is now one month old and has not been used for two weeks. The battery lasts less than 40 minutes, the graphics card is defective and the damn laptop crashes every ten minutes [or less].
Toshiba's response was: "you shoulda bought a Sony". I now truly and whole heartedly agree.

If you love migrains, Trashiba is the right product. Model "5100 problems" offers customers that, send your unit one more time for repair, that you just can't find with any other brand. Because after 4 months Toshiba wouldn't take back this great product. I'm using it as a door stopper!!! I know...pretty expensive, but a ...- Read Eagle eyes's review (96 words and 1 comment)

The RRP of the Toshiba Satellite Laptop is a hefty £2500-2600 but it's a beautiful laptop to use. A real class machine that feels great with the full sized keyboard. Aesthetically stylish, unlike some of the older Toshibas. Features are endless from integrated bluetooth, firewire, to SD card and Smartmedia card slots which really increase the multimedia functionality of the machine. The multimedia performance is fab with Harman Karman speakers and integrated subwoofer delivering a totally ...- Read Francis's review (290 words)
