General comments: Why? Why? Why didn't I listen to the advice here? my 5205-S703 is now one month old and has not been used for two weeks. The battery lasts less than 40 minutes, the graphics card is defective and the damn laptop crashes every ten minutes [or less].
Toshiba's response was: "you shoulda bought a Sony". I now truly and whole heartedly agree.
Anyone need a door-stopper?

Where does one begin? I was unlucky and stupid enough to think Toshiba had cornered the market on Desktop replacements. What I discovered was a very heavy laptop, with less than 40 minutes of battery power, and a computer that crashed more than a drunk being chased byu the cops. What an amazing piece of junk!!!! As a second Toshiba owner. This unit just plain and simply sucks. The unit crashes every 3 weeks. Toshibas recommendation, reformat. Error texts, non location of Hard drive. If you love migrains, Trashiba is the right product. Model "5100 problems" offers customers that, send your unit one more time for repair, that you just can't find with any other brand. The RRP of the Toshiba Satellite Laptop is a hefty £2500-2600 but it's a beautiful laptop to use. A real class machine that feels great with the full sized keyboard. Aesthetically stylish, unlike some of the older Toshibas.
