Tonight was my first visit to the scots bonnet as I had seen it advertised in my local paper, I wasn't aware that the hungry horse had changed. I must admit there was a huge improvement in the place. the waitress was very polite and friendly and seemed genuinely interested in my wifes well being, my wife is pregnant and so is the waitress. The food was tasty but the presentation was a bit poor. Value for money was good. We were offered a sneaky peek at the new menu and after looking at it we will be back! Overall service 10/10, Food 8/10, Atmosphere 8/10.

We were greeted plesantly and staff efficiant and polite....the food was VERY VERY disspaointing, the chicken was certainly NOT fresh it was tough and very dry and this was even with the bbq sauce and the adult portion would leave a child hungry
this was our first visit and most certainly will be our last...in future will go to the fast food resturant accross the road- Read Guest's review (68 words)

I was invited to a family birthday here and after reading the reviews I was dreading going however I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. My first impression was of a smart well run restaurant, the decor is clean and tidy and the place was very busy so it appears very popular. There are small TV's on the wall next to the tables which I could have done without but overall the place was very good. There were nine of us eating there and every one of us cleared our plates and had no complaints a ...- Read Guest's review (109 words)

After having been at The Scots Bonnet nearly once a month since its opening we were very pleased to find that the quality of service and pub food to be satisfactory, we took all our family and friends as it was a lovely warm family environment. But sadly we have noticed that this has been slowly failing over the months since the opening. On our last visit the night before we left for our holiday we were very sadly displeased with the service the instance went like this "we entered the restauran ...- Read Guest's review (443 words)

We have tried this restaurant twice within about 3 weeks of each visit. The first visit was spoilt by the fact that the food was barely warm and staff did not come round to check if all was ok. My meal was a steak which was ok but was accompanied by a small piece of over grilled tomato and a baked potato that was barely warm and was brick hard and totally dry..... not even any butter. My wife's meal was a let down too and again was barely warm. As this restaurant is just outside our local cinema ...- Read slowman's review (362 words)
