on page 467 it discusses the brunler scale comparision of prominent europeons, it makes you stop and think how much fact and how much fiction, very disappointing. There is no reference inserted to justify this discussion.

The worst book on the history of Europe .
Written by a historian of "trivia" .To call Mr N Davies a
"scholar" is but an insult to this noble profession.
The gentlemen reminds me of a verbose swindler .
The bias inherent in his book is so startling that he betrays the profession of a historian, but then again writing history to suit one's purpose is not a new idea.
Man, this book as history is bad and I really mean bad.Its originality are in its capsules , which in the overall scheme of history are trivia though I must admit there is some excellence there, but as trivia.
