The Google SketchUp is a free software for creating 3D characters and sets for Windows and Mac . Google Sketchup is a great little product! I've only marked it as 4 stars because I guess it's too basic for serious 3D users. But for those of us who only want something quick and simple it's wonderful. And it's FREE.

I'd recommend you try it because it's like other Google stuff - easy to set up and easy to use. I was up and running within a few minutes; chances are that you'll be able to decide if you like it quite quickly so even if it's not for you, you won't have wasted time or money by having a look.

I'm only at the basics stage and it is just so easy to use; and it appears (not yet sure) that there is a shedload of more sophisticated aspects I've not yet met.
