Never come across Outdoor GB before, though the website looked professional and a good product was at a reasonably competitive price so didn't see any problem. However, I waited 9 days before the item was even dispatched, a further 3 days to arrive. Too long. If P&P was free, then maybe acceptable there are other places on the I-street to buy from who don't charge to ship and the item will be dispatch even on the same day… Read Full Review

“Bad service, good product”

I ordered the product, and did not receive it in the specified delivery time (3-5 working days). I accept that I ordered around Christmas but the product was not with me in the stated time frame. Unfortunately I would like to return the product I have purchased. The issue with this is they don't give you a return address and form in the package (LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DOES!). “Not keen to help when you really need it. ”

I bought a Klean Kantean cup set. It arrived OK but I had mistakenly ordered the wrong sized cup. It was too small. I asked if they would share the postage on a new cup as I didn't want to spend 3 quid sending a 6 quid cup back. No chance, they've just lost a customer and I have bought kit from them before. “Poor stock levels”

I placed an order for 4 items totalling nearly £200.00, which were all showing as being in stock. Later that day, and then again that day I received notifications that 2 of the items were not in stock and would be delivered in around 14 days. I cancelled these and ordered through Amazon. “Campfire-Style Porcelain Message Mug Nauticalia”

I was looking to replace a mug by Nauticalia that got broken and the image published on eBay was clearly the same mug. When it arrived, however, it was nothing like the original mug. It had straight sides instead of being waisted, the mark on the bottom of the mug looked like a replica rather than the authentic mark, and the graphics printed on the mug are pretty grim in comparison. “Delivery time is a joke”

This item took eight days to arrive. When this company says its item is "in stock" it actually means the item is located at a remote warehouse and first has to be ordered from there before it can be sent out. “Fine apart from no privacy policy and subsequent marketing”

They had the stuff I wanted, and the price was fair, so I ordered paying by paypal. The goods arrived quickly. No arguments there. I have since received marketing mail from them, despite not giving them my email address and only paying by paypal. From the mail, they disclose that information they hold will be used for marketing purposes, and I should mail or phone them to opt out. “Took ages to arrive”

“Returned items policy”

I am a vegan and thought that the gloves I ordered were synthetic. When I found they were leather you agreed to a refund. That was fine. What was not good was that you did not supply a freepost return label. Excellent companies provide freepost return labels and sometimes even a packet or box in which to return the item. It's not the first time I choose outdoorgb, and I have also recommended it to friends that have bought rather expensive items, such as Suunto watches. I only received half of my order, with no view to send out the other half from OutdoorGB, until I called to enquire ad to why I had not received the whole order.
