“Took ages to arrive”

My item took over a week to arrive, they didn't even post it for 4 days, that's not good enough, they took my money quick enough, the sales people on the phones were very unhelpful and sounded like they couldn't be bothered, definitely won't be dung this company again, oh and when the item did arrive it was of poor quality and I'm currently sending it back, there are lots of outdoors shops on the web, choose another one that has polite phone staff and get items out in a few days, that's my… Read Full Review

The first time I ordered from OutdoorGB the item was delayed by approximately 6 weeks due to a supplier issue. It was handled well and I was offered a small discount as an apology which was appreciated. I had no urgency for the item so it didn't cause me any concern. “Returned items policy”

I am a vegan and thought that the gloves I ordered were synthetic. When I found they were leather you agreed to a refund. That was fine. What was not good was that you did not supply a freepost return label. Excellent companies provide freepost return labels and sometimes even a packet or box in which to return the item. “Faulty product, slow collection and no news of replacement”

“Could be better”

It's not the first time I choose outdoorgb, and I have also recommended it to friends that have bought rather expensive items, such as Suunto watches. Though, this time, I was not happy, as the Pure Hydration Aquapure Traveller Bottle arrived in bad condition, as the box was open (Order Ref: OGB10351282). “They didn't know what they were sending out.”

I only received half of my order, with no view to send out the other half from OutdoorGB, until I called to enquire ad to why I had not received the whole order. They did sort the issues out quickly enough, but the customer service staff sound utterly disinterested, a bit rude, and overtly sceptical of my complaint until she had checked for herself. I ordered a xmas present on the 14th Dec and it was apparently delivered. We didn't get a card nor did the neighbors receive the delivery. To cut a long story of email exchanges I was told in writing to contact royal mail to find my delivery! On that presumption, as I have found with many other companies and even e bay traders, the item is despatched on the day the money transfer is completed. I had to call to chase up my order, stock availability was inaccurate on one item online and unknown by staff manning the phone. After another email exchange I had to call a second time to cancel part of my order as it was on back order. I have come to expect slicker/ better service from Amazon. “Next Day Delivery Did not Arrive, No Response from Company”

In the balance of fairness, I did contact the company prior to writing this review to give them chance to repsond, but didn't hear back from them at all. I needed the product urgently and was happy to see that if I ordered by 12:00am, delivery was gauranteed by 1:00pm the following day, delivery cost £7.50.
