Good Points: Cheap, Masses of features.

Bad Points: Needs Firmware upgrade for VCD/SVCD upgrade.

General comments: Great DVD player, plays everything (after the firmware upgrade, that is admittedly a bit of a pain), The remote is relatively well laid out, and is easy to use, although there are loads of options/outputs so it will work with basically any set up. A great purchase as a second player for the bedroom or for the non techie amongst you.
Frankly what more could you ask for the money.

I bought as a christmas present for relatives, downloaded the latest firmware (to activate VCD playback), came multi-region, after update plays VCD's a dream, looks the part (handy for brownie points), no complaints what-so-ever, for £89 quid it's good buy for someone who just needs something that looks clever and plays everything, ie a present for some non-tech.

I bought from Kiiro X8 dvd player Amazon for £89 on sale (was £149) What a bargain? NO!!!!!!!

Inside of disc tray was chipped, front panel of whole player wasn't fitted tightly and I had to "ping" it into place!
I played Simpsons R1 dvd and if there was any significant movement on the screen the picture developed lines and distortion!
Thought this had to be a faulty player but even so - who puts this on the shelves? And the whole thing looked and felt shoddy!

    Straight back t ...
