Chris Ryan's SAS Fitness Book has a good all round plan to get you fit fast if you follow the work out plans.It helped me to fight and win. Goood basic all rounder.
The diet section wasn't very specific and if it had been would have made the training results show alot faster.

This book was not as you would say a complete guide, merely a broad outline. The routines are not specific, nor is the diet. However, if you are a beginner to weight training and cardiovascular work then this would be a good book to read.- Read teabag82's review (45 words)
