This is an add on to my previous review of Bonjour Hugo cofee machine. Since that time i was able to get ahold of the company marketing this product explained what had happened to them and they sent me replacement parts at no cost and did this very quickley i might add. Hats off to them for their product support. Based on this i would have to up my rating of them. Not to often you get such great service

Have this very same BonJour Hugo unit marketed under the prestige brand name sold in Canada. The main filter screen frame just doesn't last and this is not from forcing it it just seems to get brittle with time and the heat of the water applied to it. I like the unit but as you will find out as this seems to be a generic item sold under different names GOOD LUCK trying to find replacement parts for it know i haven't had any luck. Guess you could use what's left of it to water house plants, it's unbreakable you know HA HA. My advice is to stick with a glass unit with the metal press screen at least most major brands sell replacement glass when they break.
