Good Points: None in my experience.

    Bad Points: Colour missing.

General comments: I am not stisfied with my LG Flatron 775ft monitor beacause it takes at least 5-10 min. Time to show the clear image and always brightness of the monitor disturbed.

This display is very very good. For image quality like this I would have expected to pay a much higher price. This monitor has always worked well for me for years. Definitely a great deal. Great value for money for high quality viewing.

Main problem, the image degrades to the point where any text in the centre of the screen is difficult to read.

t`s hellua lot of task setting this OSD!!!!!!!!! it has taken me 2 hours and still it`s not ideally set!if i pull the top of the screen.. it`s dragging at the bottom!! why do`nt they give an option for standard settings????i am so much so much so much irritated!the old type of rotary controls are better!this is height of stupidity and the most most user unfriendly!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it has given me trouble within a year and had to be replaced!! i think it`s going to be 5 times the maintainance cos ...

This LG Flatron 775FT is an inexpensive monitor but the image quality is as good as more expensive monitors. The screen is as flat as it gets to the extent it looks concave until you become accustomed to it. Much better than any curved screen in my opinion. My only complaint was the geometry was mis~ adjusted out of the box and it was very fiddly to get just right, but it is now excellent... recommended

i have had this LG Flatron 775FT 17" monitor for 2 months and i am completely disappointed with LG. Before this one i use, i returned the same model for once. It has a sound problem. When it is off it has a sound like it is still working, like it is on. Then i changed it with this one i use now and it has that sound too. I think all flatron's have this sound. This really sucks.
It's 4 corners are blurry. Only the center of the screen is perfectly clear. Right side and left sides are all a littl ...

The LG Flatron 775FT monitor is a cheap price for consumers on a budget but suffers from bad image quality as this monitor only has a max refresh rate of 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hz which would cause major eye stain to the user. For a little more money a better monitor can be purchased.

After putting up with my ancient 14" monitor for so long (max res 800 x 600, very low refresh rate!), anything is going to look good but nothing prepared me for the superb quality of this LG Flatron 775FT 17" monitor. Having worked in front of dozens of different workstations, I can compare it to a large variety of different monitors but this is the first flatscreen display I have first hand experience with and I can state now that I am never going back to the standard curved screen ever again. ...

We have only had this LG Flatron 775FT monitor out of it's box for a few days and have been delighted with its image sharpness, overall brightness and performance. We have another computer system and this system was bought as a secondary system. On the other system we have a Sony Trinitron 17' flat screen monitor and we didn't want to spend that amount of money on a second monitor so we 'settled' for the cheaper LG Flatron 775FT. We were amazed the LG is just a good as the Sony for less money. T ...

The LG Flatron 775FT is perfectly flat, and when I saw it for the first time, it looked concave. However, I soon got used to seeing this monitor as flat, so much so, that when I look at the monitor on my old computer, or for that matter, any one elses computer, they look like big round balloons!

The brightness and contrast is fantastic. Watching DVDs on this thing is better than watching it on TV. I compared the picture quality with a 15' Samsung monitor in my friends house, and I couldnt be ...

I have tested the Monitor with the following configurations
    1) Intel DA815eea2 mother board with PIII 1 GHz. on board AGP with 4 MB RAM. runnning Win 2k pro. The screen resolution was tested at 1028X768 upto 1280X1024. These test were carried out using two brand new monitors. Same test were carried out with an extranl AGP with 16 MB RAM with similar results.

The colors were poor. In fact the icon of explorer looks horrible on the screen. One has to strain to see that this is the lens in the ...

My other monitor is the 19" Mitsubishi Dianmond Pro 900u which is a fantastic monitor. The colour on the LG Flatron isnt quite so amazing but is still impressive. Small fonts are nice and sharp and look good in all resolutions. OSD is excellent too. Screen is set back from monitor which can cause a shadow when my office lights are on.

    Highly Recommended.
