I only found your-wedding-list today.. and from what i can see, it's been what i've been looking for these past few days.

Some benefits include:

- Payments go directly to the host via paypal
- a one-off flat rate fee of £50 - £80 depending on how many items you need to list. 25 items will be enough for us.
- Being able to not specify the value of a gift - this has the advantage of being a permanent item on your list e.g. cash contributions
- Being able to make contributions to an item (at no extra charge!)
- Being able to hide the history so that your guests can't see who's contributed how much
- Being able to send cheques etc direct to the host.

I've signed up for a trial account. I think i'll be coming back in a few months to set up my permanent one as i've been impressed with what i've seen so far.

We used your-wedding-list for our honeymoon. We lived together so we didnt want the usual toaster, champagne flutes etc for wedding presents. This website lets you breakdown your honeymoon and your wedding guests help pay for it. What a great idea!
A lot of websites charge commission so it was really nice to find a cheap gift list service with no commission. We are very happy.
